Thanks for posting some additional photos of everything. I really dig those textured or felt like baits.
I see that some are baits are grass fed. Got to cater to the health conscious bass I suppose!

I still need that orange one Love that year.
Re: My Megabass Pop-x addiction
Is there a regular cadence when the Pop-X special editions get released or is it ad-hoc but happens quite a bit? I just saw that there will be a new set of 6 with the "Into the X" Stage 2. Also, how many total different variations are there (ballpark)? Are we talking dozens or hundreds???
Beautiful collection

Re: My Megabass Pop-x addiction
They do yearly Zodiac year releases every new years, special baits for most of the tackle shows in Japan every year, a few shops order custom colors every year, then MB does their premium sets as well as spring, summer, and fall releases of new SP-C baits. Last year the premium boxes were the big thing and many new baits were released. There isnt much rhyme or reason as to why they release a lot of the SP-C baits. Some commemorate people, some are nostalgic, some represent animals, others are just cool colors. As for variations, we are talking over 1000.saoulons wrote:Is there a regular cadence when the Pop-X special editions get released or is it ad-hoc but happens quite a bit? Spot on... thats why i try to collect the rarest colors otherwise i would need another display case for all of the colors they come out with. I have my eye on the into the x stage 2 pop-x stuff, but its a big $500 price tag to it..Teal101 wrote:They do yearly Zodiac year releases every new years, special baits for most of the tackle shows in Japan every year, a few shops order custom colors every year, then MB does their premium sets as well as spring, summer, and fall releases of new SP-C baits. Jerry's collection looks like my local candy store with the clear plastic and all of the colors. Very nice! Are any of them edible, or is that the next thing from Megabass?
