Thanks! That one looks like it’s coming along nicely! Man I love those zillion type r stars, I wish I would have stocked up on them while they were still plentiful...

Is that frame painted white, or are my eyes playing tricks on me? I really dig it if so.

No, that one was new in the box until I talked him into actually using it!
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

TD question
On my TDZ I can change the OG cccc but on my TDX I have to use the stock one. Is there a solution for this ?

What’s the fastest I can push the TDX?

My baby is home at last. Carbon drag, ZPI PG spool, and fresh glue on the magnets. It cast so so well and I think the TD-Z is maybe the most comfortable non-finesse reel I have tried on the glx seats. I am thinking about getting a beater TD-Ito for my 783c, have it tuned, and then see how much fishing it takes to wear all the finish off of it. Like a Rat-rod but for fishing.

Hedgehog makes a cc cap that looks like the TDZ cc cap, but it fits the OG Tatula, as well as the OG Fuego and the TDX Airmetal. Only problem is, they are perpetually out of stock.

Yep Tim is right, it was / is a new reel, I put the parts on it but still haven’t put line on it... Yet! I still don’t know if I can bring myself to fish it, I know that first scratch is going to be painful!

Thank you.I wasn't sure how good the paint job was before I got the reel but its really clean paint. I had all the parts waiting for a reel and they all fit this td-z nicely. Makes a nice setup for wacky rigged whatever matched with the X7EM
