Re: Team Pink
Here is my pink collection.
Phenix Mirage 6'1" UL with pink wraps and a 16 Aldebaran BFS XG with pink 8lb Gliss.
St Croix Legend Elite 7' Lite with pink wraps and pink Winn Grips. Also with a 16 Aldebaran BFS XG with pink 8lb Gliss.
St Croix Legend Elite 7'6" MH Mod Fast with pink wraps and pink carbon fiber grips. Looks more purple in low light.
Can't stomache the cost of cosmetic parts for reels.

Re: Team Pink
What line is that? I'm currently building a pink-themed punch rod and I will be getting some pink braid.
I also plan on painting my Zillion TWS hot pink to match.

Re: Team Pink
Added another pink rod. Custom 8'9" K2 punch rod. Used the 765 blank. I live way up north so I THINK it should work for flipping and punching.

You need some pink tackle to go along with those.

Re: Team Pink
I am looking for a good pink braid to punch with. I also use pink Gliss on my Aldebaran. I do prefer pink lures for panfish. I have a tiny pink X Rap that does work along with a variety of other baits like CD-1s and grubs.frankdi wrote:You need some pink tackle to go along with those.

ccass, that pink punching rod is so cool I'm willing to overlook the fact that you wear socks with sandals.

Re: Team Pink
Thanks. I will be giving it the real test in a couple of weeks when I go to Florida. It was made for the Northern Michigan punching I do. If the rod does not handle the 3-4lb bass very well in cover, I will most likely move the first 3 or 4 guides, put a handle on it and make it my new jig rod or something. I really like the blank and I will find a use for it.LowRange wrote:ccass, that pink punching rod is so cool I'm willing to overlook the fact that you wear socks with sandals.
Now about the socks with sandals. I cannot stand when sand and sweat are all up in my toes. The sock creates a barrier for the sand and the Dri-Fit technology of Nike makes sure my feet stay nice and dry. The little bit of UV protection is nice as well.

Re: Team Pink
Do you like Megabas Griffons? The hot pink Baby Griffon slays panfish even though it is a bit big. Every time I throw that thing it gets clobbered by big bluegills.ccass wrote:I am looking for a good pink braid to punch with. I also use pink Gliss on my Aldebaran.
