There has been an attempt at the heat shrink poor man's Legend Extreme handle. Not a very good one. This stuff keeps showing up at my door even though I took most of it out of my cart before checkout at Aliexpess. It just shows up in all the wrong sizes at random. Either huge or too small. The one I did get that was the right size wouldn't shrink enough to collapse into the split grip. This new stuff showed up in a one size too big and a 4 sizes too big size. I took the smaller of the two and this stuff does an x4 in shrink so it was able to shrink down but is too thick a material and too slick. I'm still looking for the right stuff. I might just give up on Aliexpress for this.

Yeap, that's a shortfin corvina which is what inspired the alphas mods and rod choice. Tuning options now are lightyears ahead of what they were back then. I may revisit that build.

I want a mint 07 shiro hayate, too. Mines still in very good working order, but it shows it's use. Not abused, just not mint.

Oh my... a (...) =P~

For sure those shiro rods stylish. Pairs so well with purple, too.

I've been looking for a comprehensive repository of the heartland catalog, have yet to find.

Nice bass :D

*edit: And in true heartland fashion, off the bank.

Those Heartlands look so much better than the Tatula Elites.

Here is my most recent purple thing. Old Lexa based Prorex 300 on a Wild Side 72H+.

I have found some old catalog dvd uploads on YouTube like this 2009 Hayate 72 type-E and W vid.

Awesome! Murakami-san looks and sounds exactly the same 14 years later. Haven't watched it all yet but will give it a proper view.

Thanks!

The latex or nitrile gloves help keep your hands dry and warm in the winter. I would assume that is why you see them. You will sometimes see tour pros like Skeet Reese and Stephen Browning using them in the winter. This is an old trick that us tournament fisherman have been using for a lot of decades. You can put other gloves on top of them.

Makes sense. I work at a nursing home, and was a CNA for like 9 years, so I have extra cheap gloves. I have put them under cotton/thick gloves to stop airflow. Makes sense now, thanks.
