Alphas Appreciation Thread
Re: Alphas Appreciation Thread
The old Alphas platform is timeless and these are beautiful, but I'm looking forward to see how big the diameter of the T-Wing non-CT Alphas spool ends up being. If it is 32 mm or over with an 8+ ratio, I'll buy a couple for Senkos and Flukes. I have to throw 10 lb. fluoro and up because of big fish that will break your heart. I don't want a really small diameter spool for that. Come on Daiwa!

Finesse Custom with lots of goodies, including clicking star mod, PX-R star, 90mm handle, Carbontex and lots of sapphire blue parts(including a matching Cosugi Works spool). I owe a large debt of gratitude to a friend in regards to this reel(you know who you are).
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

That's beautiful! A Cosugi is on my bucket list to try at some point. That, and the KTF Neo spool. Not only are they tough to find but they aren't cheap either.hoohoorjoo wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 10:29 pmFinesse Custom with lots of goodies, including clicking star mod, PX-R star, 90mm handle, Carbontex and lots of sapphire blue parts(including a matching Cosugi Works spool). 6 gram fixed inductor spool for Alphas. Chose between thick and thin inductors. Link in the DIY spool thread.

Re: Alphas Appreciation Thread
Those Roro spools are really nice. The option of the thick and thin inductor is better than I expected. Thick inductor is really nice for skipping finesse bass lures like Ned Rigs and worms.
The thin is good for lighter BFS.

I sold the red lauda and the green zonda, but still have the rest.
I like the looks of the R edition one and they don’t seem to pop up as much as the others. Nice collection man.

Those are beautiful. The Sol is the one reel I regret selling (mostly because of the color since I have a few other alphas)MountainMan 83 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 2:54 pmJust beautiful! Those spools really look great in there.
