I have a couple of Chris Barclay Fly rods. Chris is a custom builder based in North Carolina and has custom fiberglass tapers that are perfect for small stream fishing. For how amazing they look, I assure you they fish even better.
This is a 7'2" 4wt with a ventilated grip with camphor reel seat.

Re: Barclay Fly Rods
Very beautiful; I'd love to get my hands on a (now discontinued) 64p . Chris has temporarily suspended taking new orders to deal with a slight backlog, spend more time fishing, etc.

Re: Barclay Fly Rods
I ordered this rod a long time ago. It’s my third Barclay. I have a Gila Special along with a 723 that I built when he was closing out the line. You’re right about him wanting to fish more. Sounds like he plans on heading up this way later in the year and I hope we meet up.AlgonquinFan wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 4:31 amVery beautiful; I'd love to get my hands on a (now discontinued) 64p . Casting his rods just make my stress go away. I should be able to use flex spending on them. Lol
