Big'un from this morning...

Post by hoohoorjoo » Sat Aug 28, 2021 3:20 pm

Caught her first cast with the Mikey Sr. I'd like to thank Dragon1 for the bait. Van, you rock, dude!
9lbs 12 oz. And 24.5" long. Funny thing is, I actually caught at least 12 more fish on the same bait, but they were all 12-16"!
For perspective, the bait is just under 7" and 2 oz.

Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Piglet. You never know when it might happen, and when it does, that's what keeps us coming back 🤘

Thanks, guys. I was honestly just trying it to see how it swims vs the standard Mikey. It was 11am, sunny and already 90*. Made a cast out to the middle of the pond, cranked it about 10 ft and BAM! She jumped and one of the hooks came out, then the lure swung around 180* and foul hooked her in the back! I saw it swing and thought she spit it. Glad I got to put my hands on her, though.
