Oooooooohhhhhhh, ok, gotcha. So the black spool has the thickest inductor? I guess that's why me and my wholly inadequate thing get along with it so well

3g for a non ported spool? Did they use a pepsi can to make the spool or something? Being this light while also being solid makes no sense.

Aluminum short spool shaft for the one for the met. I bet the one for the Tatula 80 is at least double with a stainless long shaft

Looks like the solid spools with SV rotors are back.

Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Any long cast type spool for Alphas SV TW 800? I don’t want BFS spool (already have Ray 32mm) but capacity close to SLP works SV 800S spool or 6-8lb mono/fc ~75yds?

Hello, Friend!
Yesterday I talked about the same with the Chinese about the spool for Tatula 80 (showed above) and asked if they would like to make the same for Alphas. The dimensions are the same, just the axis is shorter and put a bearing on it. They promised to reply on Monday.

Nice to know, thank you very much. I was gonna buy SV800s SLP spool but that gonna cost 100 something might as well buy another Alphas 800S. I do have Ray’s spool but that too shallow for what I want it for.Loafer wrote: ↑Sun Feb 12, 2023 3:55 amHello, Friend!

I received answer from Chameleon seller:
But I asked the same question to Rays Studio's sellers, and:
Waiting, may be this manufacturer will produce it.

Thanks. I ended up with another alphas 800S 8.5 gear lol. I don’t think it will perform way better than regular alphas due to almost same spool weight.

So is there a spool for the Pixy? I know they had one from Ray's Studio back when we first saw these chinese spools, but i can't think of any others.
Re: Anyone tried DIY spools? $29-$40 BFS spools!
Yea, i've had that one back when they were first released. It was good, but i want something lighter. If there are 34mm spools that weight only 7.1g with bearing, i'd want something that is like 6g for the pixy.
When using light braid, and not filling the spool to its maximum capacity, my px68 finesse special spool was performing almost exactly like this Ray's Studio pixy spool. While also having more capacity if needed, and casting much much further than the Chinese spool.
