Double Spinning Reel Handle

Post by HobeyBaker » Sun Apr 30, 2023 6:44 am

My tournament partner stepped on my Exist's reel handle and bent it. I put a different handle on it from another reel and the reel itself was fine. Is there any benefit to a double reel handle on a spinning reel? What replacement handle would you go with? It seems like it's going to be $100+ for a replacement Daiwa handle, so I'm not opposed to going high end like a Livre.

Check out Gomexus--they make some really nice handles at a lower price point, but they're still very high quality.

I've actually replaced every single handle on all my reels with Gomexus handles.

+1 for the Gomexus double handle. I picked one up for my Exist actually and quite enjoy it. Color matches nicely as well. Only benefit to the double handle I've noticed, is that I never miss grasping a knob when I'm half asleep like I sometimes do my single handles...
