Star drag and tension knob.
Just wanted to double check if the star drag and tension knob from a Curado 70 fit the new Curado 70mgl?
Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance
Re: Star drag and tension knob.
I'm not sure to be honest. I do not have access to the new 70 to check. The tooling changed on the new version so there could be some slight differences on spacing.

Thanks I appreciate it brother
Re: Star drag and tension knob.
I just replaced the rubber O-rings in two of my 70’s and the tension is better than factory new. There’s a ton of resistance now. Before replacement, the knob would slowly loosen after a few minutes causing the spool to want to over run and needed constant readjustment. I’m a happy camper!
Re: Star drag and tension knob.
The cast control on the new 70MGL is the same dimension as the 200K. I do not have a 70MGL here to check fitment of other parts. They are backordered and will not be in stock for me to have access to for several months. I suspect the star will not fit without modification due to height differences.
