For that money bin it... I've just done my last Antares MD and that was about $500 in parts and services - I said to my friend to let it go, but being such a new expensive reel he couldn't.

My Calais DC spent time under water and it was in a deplorable shape (its on here somewhere), however after initial testing the DC module was OK, so about a month of corrosion deletion and chrome removal and about $120+/- AUD in parts (bearing, small parts and the like) I got it working quiet well.

I wanted to Ceramic coat it as its in such poor shape, but as usual being at the ass end of the world, everything is too expensive and hard for anyone to do. So it goes used as a semi raw aluminium /chrome state, works like a mad dog however that's its saving grace.
