Re: **Hand me a Lando Calrissian moment this afternoon**
This just came in and should prove to be worth the price tag at about 20 snaps.... so far it looks like it's pretty decent build time will tell the foam portions that are touted as like little hook Keepers aren't as deep as I feel like they should but seem to do the job for those into packing it into the spare hook carrier. They seem like well done totes as you can see But as you can see if you really want to have gadgetry that is shown..... the baits cannot be wide profile as you can see, not really a fatal flaw as I won't pack it with spare hooks and the baits that are in my arsenal. I also highly doubt that I'll sit there and take the time to stuff my hooks that are on my bass into these little slots just as food for thought but still looks to be fun, that is it for today

Re: **Hand me a Lando Calrissian moment this afternoon**
Some notes.......
Chernobyl skunk #1 got rigged up and ready for backyard testing. So far all the specimens I've procured from Caesar and his crew at toxic baits are really just fun to throw. I don't see how this could be any different and I was pleasantly surprised to be rewarded yet again! Another fun combination bait. You can burn it slightly at least with 6.3 gear ratio it gets down about a foot in my backyard pool I'm sure I could get down a little further when you get some distance on it but it's also fun just mad wake bait as well if you chugged along slower. I am super stoked again by Toxic and their models the only thing I'm unsure is is that it is a bit tricky to get a tail on you want to make sure you get a nice fat one in my opinion to make sure you're not bursting through the seams of the tail and having to do another typical with toxic get a toothpick in the eye hole where you attach plastic tail of choice. It is surely there to really make sure it doesn't slide off but honestly I don't even think you would have to utilize that as I think they would be fine that's something I'll have to test down the road to Peg it with a toothpick or not
Some additional notes on the newly-acquired swimbait Underground box it is still pretty fun and neat but it definitely has its limitations as you can see there are certain Bill profiles it absolutely will not close all the way so it will be better suited for very small build profiles such as what you see there in the pictures or use no billed baits say in the six inch Bullshad range which I think I have alongside a 7in triple trout.
Stay tuned for more feathered Madness I have two more rodents to do up

"Chernobyl Skunk # 2"
Only thing I will note is that I decided to go a different route with the hooks I went with a 1/0 Quattro by Decoy up front and a #1 Quattro for the rear.

Re: **Hand me a Lando Calrissian moment this afternoon**
Went to church this morning but no followers . I wanted to get a quick trip in before the rest of the family gets back from their little vacation. I split the time about 2/3 of the toxic bugle lips which is such a fun bait it makes a nice little knock when you're really slow roll it on the top and to my surprise I only foul hooked maybe a couple times on full-blown cast which I would a tribute to that being run with braid. I also like cranking it down gets down in about a couple feet on along cast to bounce off that shallower structure you try to make contact with anything that was happening to be in its range. After that I didn't see any supposed topwater action going on so then I switched up in slung the bullshooter 160 ss and tossed a few more Magnum topwaters towards the end Just for kicks and Giggles had a good time looks like they've been moving water although it's significantly lower but quite a bit more visibility and the temperatures feel cooler to the touch for sure. Few obligatory photos

Re: **Hand me a Lando Calrissian moment this afternoon**
So the Redbirds are about to be 7-0 so the chill game let me have time to focus and finish project "Sonoran Warpath" another fairy feather disaster and added a nice warpaint Style sightline on this Bucca 6" Bullgill swimmer. Good day for the pigskin and a swimbait. Showed a comparison between the stock hooks and upgraded hooks just for good measure, cut points on the left. Okay that should do it for me today folks

Re: **Hand me a Lando Calrissian moment this afternoon**
More ramblings, I got out this morning just for a bit when it started to warm up as it's a little cold for me now in the earlier mornings. Sucks aging and getting more and more creaky so I'm going to try to get on a pattern of going say about 7:30 ish to 8:30 ish hopefully and by then I should be warmed up to get the Yak in and do some more serious swimbait chucking, but this morning I brave(throwing sinking trebles) and I was able to get short shore trip.
Got some good peace of mind that's about all I caught today
Now for the notes.......I do have to say the Valkyrie 7'4" H+ is absolutely nuts. I like being always reminded on how amazing these generation of blanks are to chuck bigger baits! They load up so nicely this one today was catapulting mainly the 8 in triple trout and honestly I wouldn't hesitate to go heavier this thing really can get it out and I feel it matches pretty darn well with the Ryoga 1520HL I have on it now.

Re: **Hand me a Lando Calrissian moment this afternoon**
Finally my first specimen arrived from Brock and his company Hiroshima Customs!! Remember a few blurbs back I finally pushed over the edge and got into his selection of gliders, specifically a 7" Shad
Got this quickly in the backyard pool and holy smokes this thing is one of the cleanest baddest Glides I've thrown of course I'm not just saying that because of the price tag. Super super high quality and the Glide is hard to explain but man it's a joy just creeping it slowly and if you do a nice little pause ot likes to cut abruptly and really show it's side nicely I like this colorway the sultry bleeder shad and it has two sides as you can tell which is really cool comes with a nice little bait wrap some cool stickers if you're into all that sort of thing but who isn't it's always fun to slap a sticker on something I suppose thanks Brock you make a damn fine gliders!! I Have a few more I think coming in if I remember, definitely picked up a 5" Billrilla TW!

Re: **Hand me a Lando Calrissian moment this afternoon**
5" Billrilla in "Harumi" colorway came to party! Big thanks again Brock! This is a neat one because this is a countdown so if I pause or do any stop with the retrieve it'll start slowly sinking so what a nice fun trick with this particular crank down style of bait. I also like the fact that if you adjust the rod tip you can get it waking or subsurface or down a couple feet or more depending if you let it countdown very fun bait I look forward to putting it to work! This is a nice chunky tight profile you can rocket. I'm sure I'll get back with notes on that eventually once I get back out on the water which should be tomorrow. The action is a little bit different from other crank Downs but if I had to compare it reminds me sort of a drunken wobble/wake/subsurface sort of like a Magnum Buzzjet. Sorry no water shots as she's a countdown
