So it has been awhile as stated in my previous reply got out for a bit today nothing really happening haven't been out on the water in holy smokes at least a month and a 1/2 or so ](*,) so I have no idea what's going on with the water just kind of hit my normal stomping grounds got about 3 hours in nothing too crazy this is what I got to play with today. I must say once again Megabass definitely hit a home run with this Valkyrie 8-) it has got to be one of the hands down most buttery smooth loading blanks I've personally gotten to fish such a pleasure I can only imagine what the rest of series offers for prescribed line and lure rates 8-) . I really dig throwing 3 plus ounce trebles on this thing definitely had a good time throwing the 175 SSSS this morning. The White Python is the bees knees think I may have mentioned for right around north of 2 oz maybe a bit more but I think it handled the 7" triple trout very nicely \:D/ Anyway that's my share for today ;)

Friday fun day 8-) So we had a storm Winter style for the past 3 days, but you wouldn't believe it from the look of it today super nice and quiet on the water pretty stained which is correlated to the nice storm we had come through for a few days.....thought I would try little pre frontal and post frontal action not a lot of time on the water though only about maybe 2 or so today but this is what got to be slung today I'm really digging 175 SSSS even though it likes to helicopter hurricane kick style a la Ken and Ryu to the LZ on casts but it still gets out there and it is worth it in the swimming action IMHO. No takers but I plan on putting longer hours in hopefully depending on my body cooperation

blessed with another slick day on the water. Once again the Valkyrie is outrageous, this morning she slung the 8" bullshad. I really feel like these items were meant to be together. The 7'6" XXH just gets that bait out there, so damn sweet 8-) . She is a real patience bait as she has quite a bit slower ROF than the more diligent but smaller Triple trout. Split about equal time between the two. Spent about 3 hours OTW. Of course I put out an egg but had a couple small bucks, I mean small  take interest in the 8" bull shad while fishing the western facing shore line on the point I like to hunt around. I did most of my work from shore and I got some really nice passes in while in the yak. water level is quite a bit lower today. Thanks for let me share hopefully I'll a get another fish, it has been since March obviously

So in previous post I don't remember which, but doesn't matter those old photos are no longer showing....I have a problem with giving lures a bouquet of feathers :P Nothing mind blowing but here are some of the latest victims all in the L.O.U.S gang. Really stoked to highlight that I finally procured not 1 but 2 Butch Brown 175 SSSS trout colorways 8-) winning well at least from that standpoint

Project Kokanee....

Well Ihad one, and now I have another 8-) The Triple Trout is becoming more of another favorite in my stash of swimbaits so I finally caved and procured another 1 of these in 7" because they are just flat out rad swimbaits :big grin: I've been enjoying the 7" way more than the 8" light trout, so if anyone wants to trade/buy let me know :-k Anyway I sent out and received some of the hardware(1/0 Quattro and #5 Owner splits, the rest still in the mail) to upgrade on this awesome Kokanee colorway, love that deep purple on the back/dorsal side :big grin: Scott definitely has his formula on point when it comes to paint =D> . I have been throwing the 1st 7" TT in silver trout enough to know the finish is durable as an A-10! Anyway I wanted a change in pattern (so goes my rational) and I went with Scott's Kokanee iteration, although not a representative trout/salmon species here in AZ, but I couldn't resist that finish much longer so there you have it. With this specimen I am going to swap out splits, #4 for the rear and #5 for the front with owner hyperwires and outfit Decoy X-S21 Quattro hooks as the upgrades, size 1/0 up front and size 1 for the booty. Of course up front is getting a small bouquet of maribou, and saddle feathers in appropriate colors, whip finished tight with some red 300 denier! Side note I also picked up a long awaited replacement for the 6" bullgill that was lost earlier in the year here shown next to the 5" profile for comparison. Thanks as usual for letting me share :P

OK so I don't like trying to resale stuff most of the time I just don't feel like it's worth it at least in the case of lures so here you have it

all I ask is you answer 2 questions. Please keep it continental United States. Although the baits will be free I don't want get raked for shipping. I'm not sure what I'm opening myself up to but here we  but I want to keep it moving and help an individual interested in bigger bait profiles.

the 1st in my inbox with the right to answers will receive a starter big bait pack :big grin:

The main bait in question that had in my opinion a poor finish to start out with is the 7" Homicide glide by ABT lures. I essentially cauterized, cure/seal Where the paint with peeling heavily with only a few outings. I didn't really like the answer I got when I inquired about the shot out paint job.......
I was told to remedy with coat with clear nail polish ](*,) Not really my idea of customer service but none the less I did fish the bait quite a bit, but ultimately I like what I get in the Deps 175 SSSS a lot better. Aside from the shot out paint the bait operates without issue. It just won't get fished by me.

Other baits include a minimal used 200 S-Waver, Megabass Grenade and Big-M 4.0. All baits include my signature feather bouquet these were some of my earlier editions  Anyway aside from the homicide glide all baits are pretty slick for only having to answer two questions ;)

1st, for the comic nerd in me please tell me what issue Marvel's X-Men Havok appeared, two parter for the real folks but I will take actual issue where moniker is taken.

2nd, the names of the two dudes who essentially started the Z-Boyz skate team?

I hope this doesn't break any rules or anything I'm just trying to have fun and move along some baits that honestly won't get used And as usual thanks for playing along 8-)

HMMM. No clue on the questions. Glad it wasn't for one of your 175 BB Trouts as that would have broke my heart.haha

Anyway that's a nice gesture and in the spirit of giving for the Holidays. Hope you get/got a worthy recipient.

Lately it has been a bit too cold for me  plus we have had intermittent winter precipitation so that translates to zip water time in my books. In the meantime I had this come in recently. Cool looking tilapia pattern to me anyway Deps Bullshooter Jr. SS (130mm). I figure it was just a matter of time before I acquired one. I really loved the bit bigger 160mm version  Love that it is at that 2oz mark so it isn't such a beast to sling. New swimbait(shown with 6" bullgill for reference)same feathered results :big grin:

OK so again it's been a bit too chilly for me but the afternoons start to warm up fairly decently soI get myself out here on the water probably later this week or next week is it's been a minute but in the mean time I found a fun use for my Megabass stickers looks pretty sharp on the Chinese made Kast king clone rack. The stable is a bit thin but mainly because my focus is bigger bait chucking :big grin:
