Which one

Post by fishonsc » Wed Aug 11, 2021 12:43 pm

Going to get a new reel for throwing 1 to 3 oz swimbaits. Narrowed it down to the Daiwa ryoga 1016/1520 or a Daiwa steez a/hlc. Will be using 18 to 20 lb sniper. I have been using a Daiwa sv103. Which reel would you get and why?

Get a 1520 Ryoga and be done with it. For real, throwing what you state you won't be disappointed

Ryoga 1520 or i f you can Zillion TW HD. I have Zillion . It works excellent for 1 - 4 oz. I'm not big fan of round reels.

I picked up a Daiwa ryoga 1520l-cc. Found a good deal on one.
