sage Launch
what about these rods? are they good? because the price is not like as "ordinary" sage
Re: sage Launch
The sage launch is similar to the entry level DS series. I have casted one and they cast with medium fast action...With fly rods it's whatever you're used to. I am used to slow action fly rods and I fish with really slow action rods unless I am going to salt water or really windy conditions. I am a fly guide and I've been fly fishing for over 30 years. Alot of fly fishing is hype....big hype...The launch is a fine all around rod...Just get the weight that matches your fishing preference....The rod is probably just made from older technology....that's not a bad thing in most cases...Sage is great stuff.... They also REALLY support their customers...other companies do not ever match Sage when it comes to the lifetime guarentee...I have fished with them all...
