Vest Question

Post by Bassin Tom » Sun Jun 24, 2007 6:01 pm

Ok I may sound Dah #-o here (I don't fly fish yet just starting to gear up) but the loop of material that is on the bottom of the vest. ~X( What is there for, I understand the velcro strap at the shoulder is for holding the rod. But this strap on the bottom I can't figure out what its for. My net is on the back on the D ring so please throw me a bone here on this one.

If it is like my vests, it's for the butt of your rod.

Hey Thanks Reel old Geezer you are correct and just call me DUH I just figured that out when I was in the shower. I bought the White River Fly Shop™ 270° Fly Vest ( nice vest very lite and lots of pockets) from BPS Harrisburg PA. First one had a bad zipper on the pocket and I called and got it in a few days. BPS service has been great so far but now the new one is missing that loop so I guess I call them again and see what they can do now to make it right for me.
