I have noticed that i have a few pm's that is still in my outbox for a long time now. Is there a issue that i need to address or the receiver still did not check his pm's ?

That just means that the message has not yet been read by the recipient.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.
