I finally got a tiny klash through that collaboration and sale working class zero did.
Nice... I picked up the Ghost ;)

I have far too many new-to-me baits for 2021 already. Here are some of the highlights:

- Toxic Baits WnC, Trucha, Mini Trucha, Wad3 Hogg, Mini Mink (we stopped by his shop after a day on the Delta  )
- Pizz Beast... I had a DDT but lost it already on only my second cast with the bait 😢
- Limit Lures Trout Glide
- DockRat Trout Glide
- Ayumi S-Quad
- Gan Craft JoiCrawler
- Hoog Trout Glide
- KGB Legend
- Legrady Donut & Shortcake
- Madness Balam 300
- DreamSmasher gill and shad swimbaits
- Phenix Baits jigs and vibrating jigs
A lot of cool looking lures for sure. Swimbaits galore! Price is going up and again I would be using very thick line to avoid unfortunate snap-offs mid-air, which would necessitate large reels. Unsure if the new Steez A HLC will be enough.
I understand the fascination with handmade swimbaits. I would be throwing a lot more swimbaits if it wasn't for the fact that pike is the main species in my area that would eat and destroy large swimbaits...

I've already bought one of the new Rapala OG Slim cranks to try for bass this summer, as well as the new smaller sized Super Shadow Rap, which should work really nice this spring for pike. Might eventually pick up a Duo Realis Microdon 88 and/or a Spearhead Ryuki Quattro, or maybe even a Gan Craft Jointed Claw 70 when I inevitably make a purchase from TW at some point this spring

6th Sense Hyper Jerk. And although not new, it is new for me: Megabass Vision 95 Q-GO.

I've found some success on the 95 fishing over grass beds. It only dives to about 2 feet on average so works well when you need a jerkbait that runs more shallow.

I've been on the JDM hardbait train for about 15 years now, but this winter I bought a bunch of JDM plastics to try. Went with Deps and OSP and am curious to see if the hype is warranted at around $2 per soft plastic.

I, too, am looking forward to some new trout lures.

Duo Spearhead Ryuki 70S - Violet Yaname YB
Duo Spearhead Ryuki 60S - Ayu OB
Daiwa Dr Minnow 70F - Bubblegum
Megabass Great Hunting 55 - LZ Lime Back

Several colors of Dynamic Lures HD Trout

Of course some new Rapalas, but most curious to try the X-Rap 06 in different colors. I have had great success with several of the other Countdown and Balsa versions of their offerings so I’m excited to try the X-Rap.

Lastly, I have some new colors (for me) of YoZuri Pins Minnows. I’m using for the first time this season the Blue/Silver OB 2 3/4 inch version. It’s supposed to be very effective. I’m hoping it is.
Thanks for the info. Should have known what this would lead to - just ordered 3 Duo Ryuki 60S  ;)
I note the size of your lures and will highly recommend that you try out the Tiemco Laks 60S.
So, I just received an order of several sizes and colors of the new to USA Megabass Great Hunting Humpback. These look amazing and I can’t wait to try them out. Certainly in my box for the annual trout trip to Western North Carolina...

Here are some 46mm 4g versions..

Thanks for the info on the 95s. I was hoping to fish these shallow and over cover in the summer so it is good to hear they stay shallow. I've had some success with Sebile Stick Shads and Rapala X-Rap Subwalks so I'm hoping these will be as good or better. I would love to hear how the JDM plastics work out, after you get some time on the water with them. Thanks again.

They are no longer made, but if you can find them, the Lucky Craft Flash Minnow 95MR are my favorite shallow jerkbait for fishing over grass beds.

Thank you again! I will definitely watch for these in the overstocked/used market. I realized last year that the 2-3' depth for jerkbaits is where I'm a little short of options. I often use deeper running lures and manipulate them to run shallower. It works, but is obviously not ideal. Thanks again for all your advice I really appreciate it. Tight lines

I have some of the Humpback 46 size and they are nice. The thicker hooks work better for me v other megabass trout lures. I have the large Humpbacks, GH51 and GH64, on my shopping list...

Since my favorite lure for trolling is a Rapala Husky 13, I had to try the new Rapala Husky 13 scatter. Great bait for trout and striper. Big plus, not available in any USA tackle shop. \:D/

Duo Realis and Jackall spybaits. I've never used a spybait but they seem like they would work so I'm going to try them this season. 110+1 Jr's have already been ordered. I have no doubt these will work well. I'm also going to try Decoy Shot Rig Worm 10 hooks for drop shots to see if my landing percentage improves.
Take the split rings off the hooks and replace them with hand tied braid loops (30 lb). This will improve your landing percentage big time.

OK one more option but it's a bit pricey. I had a couple good days in the fall fishing over grass beds and along grass lines with the Megabass 110 Max LBO. Bigger bait but you can cast it a mile. Only issue was my line kept getting fouled up in the front hook. Not sure anyone else has had that issue.

HobeyBaker - Can you share what knot you are using? "hand tied braid loops (30 lb)" Not exactly sure what you are doing.

Generally speaking, all things red. With early spring coming along, I want to try to get some real confidence with this color. Reentl picked up a red arashi squarebill, jackhammer, and KVD lipless. Hopefully it turns out!

New to try lures for me include Gan Craft Killers Bait Over spinnerbaits, Megabass SV-3 double willow spinnerbaits and OSP HPF crankbaits.
