Hook Package Storage Ideas
Hook Package Storage Ideas
What are you guys using for hook storage when you keep hooks in the packs? I am tired of taking them out of the package. I want to find something that holds hook packs without bending them if possible. I know they can fit in any larger tote storage or binder, but I was hoping to get some ideas for something that was a little neater. Thanks

Would the Plano Edge Flexible series suit you? Maybe a bit deep, but certainly very adaptable

Gamakatsu G Box for hooks. It has foam inserts and is the perfect size. I really like it.

Re: Hook Package Storage Ideas
I currently have all my hooks out of their packages in the Plano Edge Terminal box. I’m pretty happy with it but don’t run a ton of different types of hooks currently. A few days ago I was at my local Japanese Tackle Shop and they had a Daiwa hook holder designed to hold hook packages. It was a canvas pouch a tad larger than a typical hook package and could probably hold 20 packs if I was a guessing man. It retails for 1500 yen but was on sale for 900 yen, $7ish USD. I didn’t pick it up yet but likely will next time I’m there.

The Daiwa wallet led me to some Ryugi products that I want to get my hands on. I'll post pics if I end up picking some up.Gone Phishin wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 10:27 amIf you do, could you please post a pic or two?Kimbro1014 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 4:33 amI currently have all my hooks out of their packages in the Plano Edge Terminal box. I’m not technologically savvy enough to post pics..maybe it’s time I learned. I’ll either figure it out or email you some pics.Gone Phishin wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 10:27 amIf you do, could you please post a pic or two?Kimbro1014 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 4:33 amI currently have all my hooks out of their packages in the Plano Edge Terminal box. That Ryugi single hook stocker looks interesting.

Daiwa makes some hook stockers in different styles too. Some like the ryugi, and the others can fit the hook packs inside like a wallet.

I do this and a Plano Edge 3700 deep works perfectly. Check out Punch Fishing's Youtube channel, he has a video about this very subject.

I used to use a terminal box, but I found small ziplock bags on Amazon, I get the 3x4” size, perfect for storing hooks, weights, etc, you can get like 500 of them for 10-12 bucks, cheap and works for me….
