thinking about adding one to the mix...

I am looking at the Ultra MBX Casting MBX700MH or a Ultra MBX Casting "Classic" UMBX-700MH-C

what is the general consensus on how they compare to a Zillion/Compile/KistlerHEII/NRX/Cumara/St.CroixLegend (I know I threw out pretty much all of my other rods...)

both rods are identical other than cosmetic (wood/cork) and cut handle, they both run the same blanks... am I missing anything?

kind of leaning toward the "non-classic" if all else is the same.

would pair with either a 50MG or a Alpha-ito 103...

thanks,
sid

My opinion, get the regular MBX. Unless you realy like burlwood, it saves about $30.00 and like you said, same blank, guides. Too, I like the look better with the EVA, rubber cork, and checker pattern better!
