NEW Daiwa DX-Bass Line of Rods.
NEW Daiwa DX-Bass Line of Rods.
So like the Tatula-Tactical:---Exclusive to TW:
Looks like Daiwa Snuck in a New Rod line...EXCLUSIVE to TW. So TW is having DAIWA mfg some rods just exclusive to them for now....Possibly to test how the FULL CORK is still received in USA ?
I Think the Crank Rod specs other then handle lengths are off.
Alot of 8 foot sticks now and coming in Daiwa's FULL LINEUP OF ALL RODS.
First time I have seen Daiwa use the term MODERATE...they usually use the term REGULAR, FAST, and EX-FAST.

Then there are these:

HVF graphite. Depending on the guides they look pretty nice.

They are truly TW exclusive as nothing in new 2015-2016 Daiwa catalog are similar.
Re: NEW Daiwa DX-Bass Line of Rods.
Like all new rods that are coming out these days...they have short handle disease. A 7'3"XH with a 14 1/4" handle doesn't cut it for me.
Re: NEW Daiwa DX-Bass Line of Rods.
I can't stand the way tw measures handles.
Re: NEW Daiwa DX-Bass Line of Rods.
It states IM7 graphite under the description, but noticed hvf on the rod in one of the pics. So I wonder which is correct.IlliniDawg01 wrote:HVF graphite. Depending on the guides they look pretty nice.

I would say that pic is thexact same pic that is used on both series of DX-Bass Rods....the crank and the cast and the spin. So who knows really....Doubt that all 3 models are same action/power and lure and line weight. Guess after this week we will know more.jamesdta wrote:It states IM7 graphite under the description, but noticed hvf on the rod in one of the pics. My understanding has always been that their HVF is IM7...

Didn't know that thanks. I recently purchased a daiwa dxw walleye rod that's IM7 and it's awesome. Felt better to me than the expensive loomis and shimano rods in store. I guess I never thought IM7 could be so great.
Re: NEW Daiwa DX-Bass Line of Rods.
I asked TW about the IM7/HVF today. I was told it is IM7 graphite and the HVF is part of the construction process. They have updated the description on the site to reflect this.

I love daiwa but 140 for these?
I can find better rods for cheaper unless these are somehow sleeper rods.
