Right on, thank you guys.
Polkfish, do you feel the 7'2"H would not be overpowered with the 1/2oz model plus trailer?
No, I don’t think so. It’s still plenty of rod. Should not be rated as a heavy IMO, .
Agreed

No, I don’t think so. It’s still plenty of rod. Should not be rated as a heavy IMO, but plenty of rod for the 1/2oz + trailer. I stalk shallow waters all year long. I find it easier to roll the 3/8 oz through and around cover in the shallows and have better success with 3/8 oz. It wasn’t because I thought the rod could not handle a bit more weight.
Rock and roll, thank you.
Man, you got me started on these damn baits here and I can't thank you enough.

Okay, I have jumped on this PA bandwagon group.
I'm not sure what to really expect but, wait till the ice thaws out on the lakes. Another two/three months maybe.
6'11" M+
7'4" H
They will be used for, whatever I feel like.
slip bobbing is the laziest way to fish

That’s awesome. I myself was super late to the vibrating jig game. I like to think of myself as not being a complete Luddite, but for some reason I just left that one be for so long before tying one on. Maybe because I love shallow cranks and balsa baits so much. But ever since I did and realized what I had been missing, it’s become a staple in the ole bag of tricks.

I have a 7’3 MH and a 7’2 H. The applications for this rod are wobble heads, flashy swimmers, spinnerbaits, dark sleepers, chatterbaits, etc. most are around the 1/2 range. Which one should I keep for those applications?

The 7’3”MH is my favorite rod in the PA lineup.
Very versatile. I’ve fished moving baits, flipped with it, t-rigs, cranked it, and frogged it. It’s one of those rods that’s always on my deck.

Hey,
I can't decide between PA or PG is the PG worth the extra money, how much of an upgrade is it?

I don't own a lot of the models from both line up, but I have used them side by side and from my experience it's kind of the same as the GLX vs NRX / Orochi vs Destroyer debate. If the PG (NRX/Destroyer) is something you're curious about (lighter, slightly more sensitive, crisp) just get it. If saving a bit more money and being pretty damn close is OK then get the PA (GLX/Orochi). The main the difference has been sensitivitity. The difference from just feeling weeds vs feeling pretty much every blade of grass. Feeling just a rock or tree vs feeling the texture or bark on the tree underwater. Pretty subtle but it's there. Specs PG is usually about 5 grams lighter per model but to me balanced and felt roughly the same. Compared the 72H PA and 72H PG. Hope that helps.

What is a PG model? I've considering going to the PA line but I have no idea what the PG is. I understand the comparison NRX/GLX so thanks for breaking that down.

Poison glorious. It's jdm model. There's also the poison ultima that's one step above the PG

A very small part of my PA handle/grip is starting to bubble. I thought I might have nicked it somehow but there aren’t any cuts that I can lift it up. It’s only 2 months old and used less than 5 times. Anyone experienced this?

I’ve been meaning to post this about my PA’s.
I have the entire PA casting series except the glass model.
My 7’2”M is bubbling. Here’s a pic. I have it next to another PA for comparison.
Should I warranty claim this?
