Daiwa BLXLG731MLFB??
Daiwa BLXLG731MLFB??
This rod looks intriguing but I can’t find any info on it. Anyone have experience with it? Want to use it for smaller reaction baits and jerk baits. Possible a 1/4oz bass patrol jig and a 5 in senko in a pinch when I’m shore fishing and only want to bring one rod. Seems like it has a little crazy lure rating, so any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!

Re: Daiwa BLXLG731MLFB??
I've been fishing this rod quite a bit over the past couple months. I have mine paired with a Steez CT presently and a prototype 12# FC line (that is incredible by the way) and have been throwing everything from a DT10 to the Evergreen Flat Force crank, square bills, to light swim jigs, to finesse vibrating jigs and spinner baits. This rod should have been listed as a "Medium" power and it wouldn't cause so much confusion or concern due to the specs. In my hands, it's not a medium light rod at all and I don't fish it like a traditional medium light rod either. It will definitely be staying in my line up for some time, it is a fantastic rod and I really like the big brother, the BLX 74MHRB!

Revving this thread again. Just curious if someone could update their findings on this rod. Looking for a long (over 7-2) medium power rod. Something that could launch small swimbaits, tubes, dark sleepers. was thing of a loomis 892 (GLX or IMX) but I prefer MB tapers.

I love this model...enough that I'm considering a second. It is definitely versatile.

Would you run with a ML for 1/2 oz. traps or go with the MH model?
