i probably wont throw anything less than 1/8oz, but it's good to know it will handle 1/16oz.

i haven't crappie fished since i was a kid, but have kinda got back into it in the past year. i'm using (or trying to) casting gear, so it's not really much different than bass fishing.

JDM Tackle Heaven just stocked up with the Blazon C68L-BF! A bit more expensive on the "MSRP" side ($150-160 JPY/USD) vs Asia Portal Fishing though.

But I did order one!
How was the ordering process? I'm wanting to get a couple of rods from them.

The ordering process is similiar to plat, digitaka and japanlureshop. But their shipping and pricing are a bit more than the sites that i mentioned.

I'll keep that in mind. Thank you!

Anyone have experience with the 611h-sb? How does it handle the upper weight spectrum 3.5 to 4oz?

I have the Air EDGE version with the same ratings. One thing I'd point out is that the short length makes it tough to cast past 2.5oz. It's a great rod for skipping 6-7" swimbaits around tight cover. Big topwater or rats too.

I have a longer Levante Leviathan that throws things well, but the long length make it hard to work a Klash like a jerkbait. The reel handle turn I feel is not enough to bring out its full erratic action. Plus, I think the short rod is good for around cover where I throw it the most.

If you want a 7ft that can throw up to 6+oz (says 3/8-3oz) Is the Majorcraft Days 70X. No issues with the K9 on it at all. Rod was under 200 shipped from Japan and it is versatile. It's not super lightweight, but not a brick in weight either. I like it a lot.

Pulled the trigger on the Blazon.

First impressions, lightweight, but balance point with a Tatula Elite is like 1 and half inch above nut. Though rod doesn't feel tip heavy at all.

The rod feels like Zodias, Expride and Rebellion stiffness. To compare action with the rods I've fished, the action is like a 7'2 MH Zodias, maybe tad softer tip, yet has the backbone and power of the 7'2 H Zodias.

Slapped on a Klash9 right away that weighs exactly 4oz. To my thrill, it can handle it and casts it with zero issues. I can make accurate close quarter casts easier now. Switched to a TK and it's perfect, I can work the bait like a jerkbait with no lip and mode B with less strang.

Tried lighter baits 3/8 chatterbait with a paddle tails. It can probably throw a weightless senko and will try another time, but the ratings (3/8oz to 4oz) are IMO accurate.

Overall happy with purchase, pretty versatile rod so far with the weight range.

I don't have the C610M but I do have:
The C66M, C611H-SB, C67MH-FR, and C64L-ST/B

Yep. The medium is perfect for any technique you'd want a medium for such as topwater, jerkbaits, small crankbaits.

The MH frog is just as it says, a medium heavy frog rod. I like it cause it's not too stiff but I haven't landed any fish on it yet.

I caught a nice 24" walleye on the C64L using a 3/8 ounce chatterbait. It was way above the rated 1/16-3/8th ounce rating with a trailer, but I think and it feels like all the Blazon rods are able to fish a little above their rating as the OP noted when throwing on the 611H.

How is the Blazon MH frog rod after some time with it? Been wanting to pull the trigger on this one but can’t find any user reviews on it. Is the tip soft enough to load small hollow body frogs like the Kaera frog or pad crasher jr?

I retired it for now. Missed a lot of fish on it so I decided to go back to a longer rod for frog fishing. Also my casting distance was suffering a lot... 65lb braid + 6'7 rod = very short distances. My frog rod is now a 1st gen 7'2 Megabass orochi perfect pitch i got from someone locally on fb marketplace.

The blazon is a soft rod and can probably load the baits you mentioned.
