Phenix Ultra MBX rods
Any experience/opinions with the latest model of these? M40J carbon, fuji SIC guides and a classy look has me interested.

Not sure, but if the new blanks are even a slight bit better than previous model, they will be fantastic.

Agreed, the previous series has excellent blanks.Hogsticker2 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 1:58 pmNot sure, but if the new blanks are even a slight bit better than previous model, they will be fantastic.

I have the 7' Light power. Fantastic rod for smaller jerkbaits and micro jigs/shaky heads.

Interesting and following. I have the old one a 6'6" Light power one but it's more like a medium light power rod.
