Has anyone picked up the Ned rig rod yet? I’m thinking about picking one up, but just wondering if it’s an actual Light power or if it leans more towards ML. It would be nice if it could double as a drop shot rod

Can anyone compare the tip of the 76MML to the 71ML as well as the overall power in the blank? I own the 76MML and I'm looking to pick up something a little shorter and lighter powered overall to use primarily as a drop shot rod. The 71ML looks like the perfect option, but I'm hoping the tip is a little softer than the 76MML.

Rounded up another Steez rod, the 6-9 MH Target Sniper, to go along with the Utility Player I've had for a year or so.
Wanted this rod to use in the river in some of the tighter spots where the longer rod is a hinderence with overhanging limbs and such.
Went down to fish the New River on Sunday near Hinton WV. The water conditions were less than ideal due to recent rains, making it very difficult to find a spot to actually fish as most places were underwater. I did manage to catch two smallmouth, the first one weighed 3-1 and the second was a giant at 5-3.
The rod performed just as expected, very sensitive and powerful. I have this rod paired with a Tatula 80 with a lightweight spool from SDS Customs in Ukraine.

Anyone have "The Sensor"
I have one, I use it primarily for 1/2 keitech and beast coast baby dozer jigs in windy conditions, I like to watch the solid tip for strikes.

Is it sensitive or do you have to rely on the tip movement for bite detection? Is the backbone solid enough for quick solid Hooksett or do you have to go through half the rod to set the hook? Thanks!

It's very sensitive and has plenty of power for a snap Hookset, it's not the most balanced, but I fish it tip down anyway

Is it solid tip? I thought Daiwa SMT on bass rods were tubular. I recall Luxxe Oltre titanium tips are tubular too.

I thought it was a solid tip but I may have just assumed that.

Yea I believe it is tubular and not solid.

Does the sensor fish close to M or MH?

To me it's more like a traditional MH think of The OG GLX BCR rods.

Has anyone picked up the Ned rig rod yet? I’m thinking about picking one up, but just wondering if it’s an actual Light power or if it leans more towards ML. It would be nice if it could double as a drop shot rod
In case anybody has information on this rod, I'd be interested as well.

"Daiwa Steez AGS Spinning Rod 6'10" Light"
STAGS6101LXS-SMT Spinning L F 6'10" 1 2-7 1/32 - 5/16 11 Bottom Contact Ned Rig With SMT $599.99

It's on TW and the Daiwa page, but has no description (just the specs - the other rods all have specs and a product description). Weirdly enough it's priced $50 higher than the other rods, too.

It $50 higher because it has the SMT super metal top. Ive been itching to pick one up but I’m worried about it being too light in power. I might just have to be the guinea pig

Anyone running braid to a long leader on an AGS rod without issue? The orange card scared me.
