Post by hookfynn » Thu Aug 26, 2021 4:39 pm

randy howell using a black foam daiwa rod that doesn't look like a rebellion rod. looks like a cross between the tatula elite, rebellion and new steez ags

I dont see any orange on that rod. Looks to be silver aluminum accents to me.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Looks like a Cronos to me.

cronos have a carbon weave ober the blank down by the handle and a visibly billet aluminum hood on the foregrip. this has neither other than the fact the rods completely black. they also haven't made the cronos for a couple years now.

It is certainly a prototype. The model information is taped to the rear grip. No decal on blank.

I was lucky enough to hold the Rebellion prototypes.and they just had paper labels taped to them in a similar fashion.

Perhaps a new Zillion to go with the reel.

I commented on a post of his on Instagram the other day. he replied back that it was an original tatula elite prototype of his 7'1" jerkbait/topwater rod that they didn't use as a production model because it was to soft. apparently he used it for spybaiting

I asked him the same thing and he told me he was using a Shimano rod on a Daiwa reel.
