Just got word that the rod will be here on Saturday
Super excited
Glad we could help out with The Sensor JL - that's a very unique rod in the series that excels at lighter bottom contact. I think it will be right up your alley. Let us know what you think.

i'm looking for feedback as well since I'm extremely interested in this rod/lineup. if you could post a pic of the balancing, that'd be much appreciated

The feedback has been building on this site and elsewhere. This series is receiving rave reviews and we've had guys buy multiple rods after getting their first one. We've also had quite a few folks selling off other high end rods to fund the purchase of new 21 Steez AGS rods.

How well does this rod handle, say, an 1/8oz - 1/4oz tungsten plus a small plastic (1/0 - 2/0 hook)?

I haven't thrown a 1/8 1/0 combo on this rod, but I have thrown a lot of 3/16 2/0 with a Flirt 4.95 matched up with a Steez CT and it worked great. Paired with the right reel and line, I'm sure it could effectively fish something that light. The SMT is very forgiving when loading up lighter t-rigs and jigs. I love throwing 1/4 oz tungsten jigs with a small trailer on this rod.

Anyone have this rod with the Sv light limited reel?

I think they’d go well together

UPS came while the wife was home     :big grin:

Dont know about you guys but after several reels, the TDZ R+ seems to be the ticket for now as far as I am concerned..

Excellent! Come on, surely she's past the point of caring when another rod tube shows up by now!!

I could definitely see the R+ being a nice match on The Sensor. Keep us posted on how it goes!

Yeah she is.  The look on her face was priceless.
I’ve had a chance to do some casting but no catching, so I am not going to really say too much until I handle a fish or two but I know someone up here said they got two of these rods and I thought it was just me that does things like that.
After a little while with this rod I thought to myself, I need another as well. Maybe premature thinking but this rod is more of what I like.. Its not a noodle, its light and from what I can tell feels like it had as much muscle as it does finesse.
I was not looking for a BFS rod, and this is not that, however dropshoting is not what i consider power bfs and this feels great as a dropshot or powershot rod..

I am using seagaur 8lb floro
I really like the feel of the rod, it reminds me of the racing design texas rig special. I’m not talking solely cosmetic but in the feel and sensitivity as well. I can see how this particular model would be used as a vision 110 rod
Not for violent jerks but when it gets cold and you want to twitch it.

The backbone turns on at about the 5 guide while to me the solid tip is from the first to the third. I could be wrong but that’s what I see when I look at the guides.

Best I can do
Just had to replace the kitchen light, Garage door opener and now other honey do's
For the longest I was very naive on the capabilities of the TDZ reel platform. I initially thought it was a reaction bait reel and not a jig reel that requires a good hook set. Of course I no longer think that way now and would be interest in the Jig rod of this line up and pair it with another TDZ R+ reel.
