St. Croix Legend Glass for Chatterbaits

Post by rubs96 » Mon Oct 18, 2021 7:19 pm

Has anybody used the St. Croix Legend Glass 6’10” MHM for chatterbaits?

I had the 7’11” but didn’t throw deep divers enough to warrant keeping it (I just couldn’t stand looking at a rod I never took out!).

I’ve used the 6’10” MHM for all my cranking needs so far as well as poppers, but would like to know how much more versatile it is. I won’t be able to get out to test it myself until next year so I’m wondering if I should pursue another rod for my bladed jigs.

Thanks for any input!

I'm interested in what people have to say. I know a lot of folks like glass for their bladed jigs, and I'd love to try that, but I just can't see giving up the sensitivity of graphite to feel if the blade is thumping or not.

I used the mojo glass 610 mhm for mine and it excelled at it, I upgraded to a 73 mojo glass now.
