I currently own the new 852c jwr and the 873c crr and I'm curious which Nrx is right in the middle in terms of power?
Maybe you have an idea also in comparison with the old models.
843, 853 or 893?
NRX+ between 852c and 873c

Because the 853 is too close to the 852c?

Re: NRX+ between 852c and 873c
I own all these rods, and would have to add the 843 at this point. 873 already covers everything the 893 can fish and then some, and the 852 covers anything lighter. I use the 853 for close range pitching on the rivers, but could honestly just use the 873. 843 would add a high end moving bait rod into the lineup, that can cover a lot of techniques the JWR series doesn’t do well, like Topwater, chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, etc, while also fishing jigs and plastics nicely.
As far as power, Steve is right on. 893(and also 853) sit in between 873 and 852.

I find there are extremely few things I can't do with a combo of the 873 and 893.
The 893 is definitely lighter than the 873.
