I'm looking at these 2 rods for dragging a dropshot in less then 10' of water with scattered grass. I usually have 1/4 oz or less weight plus plastic. MB P5 F3 611XS Landsat is rated 1/16 to 3/8. Steez AGS Finesse Game Special is rated 1/8 - 3/8. Let me know your experiences with both of these rods. If you happen to have fished both, which did you like better and why?

I dont like the drip design of the P5 spinning rods... the 2016 USA Destroyer grips were perfect, then they come out with the current design and ruined it for me. I have a lot of Steez AGS rods and they are great, the grip design alone would make me go that route. Plus the rod you are asking about it basically the drop shot rod of the lineup.njbasscat wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 8:46 amI'm looking at these 2 rods for dragging a dropshot in less then 10' of water with scattered grass. Thanks Dan. That helps a lot.

Looking at the reel seat on TackleTrap for the P5 Windbuster just makes me mad because of the weird hump and the missing cork up front of the reel, I would order one right this minute.
The 2016 Destroyer Addermine is my favorite spinning rod ever and supposedly the P5 line will get it at some point. But again, the reel seat is jacked and it makes me sad.
