Thanks again for the great information. I think the rod should tick all the boxes! :-)fishonsc wrote: ↑Mon May 23, 2022 11:17 amI am using a 1/2 oz brush jig with Reaction Innovations spicy beaver, sweet beaver or a Xzone adrenaline craw trailer. 3/4 oz or so. I can weigh them if you would like. I will also pitch with the above trailers with a 3/16 pegged weight. At the same time I have no problem casting a 1/4 oz t-rig with a 8 to 10 in worm. Most of my Frogs are 5/8 to 3/4 oz.freelancer27 wrote: ↑Mon May 23, 2022 10:55 amThanks a lot for the reply!fishonsc wrote: ↑Mon May 23, 2022 9:28 amI have a Steez A on mine. Balance point is right at the nut. I do not like a magnesium reel on this rod. It needs a aluminum frame reel. It is one incredible rod. It is crazy sensitive. You can easily feel bites on slack line. It's sweet spot is a 1/2 jig. Crazy how light it is to be a heavy rated rod. The best frog rod I have owned. Will absolutely bomb a frog. It is my favorite in the line up with the target sniper being a very close second.freelancer27 wrote: ↑Mon May 23, 2022 7:35 amThanks for the reply!CodyNeely11 wrote: ↑Sun May 22, 2022 3:51 pm
I had an 854 NRX for roughly 12 minutes and it is clearly more sensitive than that rod was lol.
For a pretty powerful rod, it is impressively sensitive in my hands. I think it is a standout in the line.
What reel do you have mounted on the rod, where is the balance point?
Thanks again!
Just to be crystal clear. Would that be a 1/2oz jig and plastic trailer or the total weight of the jig + trailer.
Thanks a lot for confirming this!
For frogging I run a Daiwa SV103xsl on her.

You are welcome. It is a very versatile rod. I was casting 6" freestyle magdrafts the other day with her.freelancer27 wrote: ↑Mon May 23, 2022 11:34 amThanks again for the great information. Re: Steez AGS 72H
Do these come with an attached hook keeper now? I seen some product detail photos where it has a open T-rig style hook keeper wrapped onto the rod.
Re: Steez AGS 72H
I’m pretty sure that was only on the pre production models. They got rid of it on the final version and went with the removable keeper. But for some reason they still used the old photos.
