Trika Rods
Trika Rods
Hey guys this actually may be my first post but have scoured the forums for quite some time but anyway.
Recently saw Zander from tackletour post on Instagram about Trika rods and am intrigued. American made, built by a company whose known for high end stuff at least in the crossbow/archery game, any thoughts or info on them?

Re: Trika Rods
US made blank, carbon grips, Kigan ti/zirch guides, proprietary reel seat… ~$300 range

I'm so tempted....
Re: Trika Rods
I am going to give the 7'5" casting rod a shot. $340 delivered. Hope it works out. They offer a 1yr return with full refund, minus shipping I guess.

Re: Trika Rods
I bought a 7"3 medium today so I hope I'm not a beta tester in a failed product

Re: Trika Rods
Glad to see this for a couple of reasons. I will say it's a tough market....and that new edge Epitome is coming out at the same price.

Re: Trika Rods
First time i hear of this company. Checked their site, and outside of the ugly Trika sticker, the specs look pretty good. These rods must be super new cuz there isn't a single video about them on youtube.

Re: Trika Rods
A little skeptical when a company makes claims such as being twice as sensitive as the competition, whoever they've deemed that to be. The listed rod weights aren't anywhere near 30% lighter than what I fish now. Gonna have to provide more information than just tell me it's all proprietary before I'll bite. Don't like the foregrip, and I'm not sure how that bubble on the rear of the casting seat would feel. I am however curious to hear some user feedback.

For real?! What the F. First 200?doomtrprz71 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 13, 2022 8:44 pmOnly the first 200, then they go up to 495. No way I'd pay more than 295 for an edge built rod.

Supposedly the material is allocated for defense, I think the blanks will be 295 by themselves going forward.KP Duty wrote: ↑Mon Aug 15, 2022 6:41 amFor real?! What the F. There is already an extensive discussion on the Edge product here viewtopic.php?f=63&t=88335

Re: Trika Rods
I'm impressed, there's definitely something different with the blank, it seems to be rolled different than say a NFC or point blank blank
