I had it for a couple seasons. Great sensitivity (is it NRX sensative?...idk. I've never fished an NRX) and quite powerful. Shines anywhere from 1/2 to 3/4oz. It could probably handle 1oz as listed on the rod but it does get a little bit squishy and uncomfortable while casting. I think Gan Craft has it listed as a spinnerbait rod but I used it for various other things (swing-head jig, paddletails, etc) and it performed nicely.
Side note, I found the EVA foam on the handles to be very comfortable.
