Congrats man...these rarely ever come up for sale.ks_ness wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 10:39 pmI was thinkin' the same too. I wonder if they'll make other bass lines with the 5G blank similar to how they marketed the Benkei, Days, Speedstyle, etc. I was finally able to source a MS-X Limited after so long, so this is exciting news to me.ss30378 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 8:57 pmIt appears so, but fwiw the better blank, titanium framed guides and the few extra glamor pieces make it more like a reincarnated msx than than a days series rod.BARRAMANIAC wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 2:20 pmseems that the prices have doubled from the existing Days series

Re: Major Craft Days 360
for good reason, i have a 6'5" light ms-x limited spinning rod and it is absolutely awesome, i have wanted to add some more major craft rods to the arsenal but not really impressed with the rods i have seen lately, though the 5g rods look interesting. i tried looking for the spinning rod section of the days 360 but souldnt find anything, hopefully they have something in there that i like. also the 37000-40000 yen price isnt too bad if they are as good as a ms-x or ms-x limited!dragon1 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 05, 2023 6:18 amCongrats man...these rarely ever come up for sale.ks_ness wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 10:39 pmI was thinkin' the same too. The whole baitcasting line up can be found as well.
The Japanese sources say the Days 360 will be available in late March or early April.

Re: Major Craft Days 360
Imagine those blanks being really really nice and then there’s only those few models to choose from a series where finally „limited“ would actually make sense in the name

Can't fathom why that spinning seat isn't reversed...a perfectly fine foregrip, installed in the rear!raychoi wrote: ↑Wed Feb 08, 2023 3:29 pmhttps://www.majorcraft.co.jp/roditem/16984

Agreed! I don't like that trend with the unlocking hood/grip at the back of the seat. It has never been as comfortable or aesthehically pleasing to me as a downloading hood/grip.reason162 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2023 1:32 pmCan't fathom why that spinning seat isn't reversed...a perfectly fine foregrip, installed in the rear!raychoi wrote: ↑Wed Feb 08, 2023 3:29 pmhttps://www.majorcraft.co.jp/roditem/16984

Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.
Re: Major Craft Days 360
I think we're saying opposite things - that whole reel seat should be reversed, with a proper foregrip so you can wrap your hand around it lolhoohoorjoo wrote: ↑Fri Feb 10, 2023 6:10 pmAgreed! No, I think we are both saying the same thing. This is what I like, with proper forgrip(see pic below). This is the most comfortable to me, with the foregrip being an integral part of the lockdown hood that holds the reel in place.reason162 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 10, 2023 9:13 pmI think we're saying opposite things - that whole reel seat should be reversed, with a proper foregrip so you can wrap your hand around it lolhoohoorjoo wrote: ↑Fri Feb 10, 2023 6:10 pmAgreed! Re: Major Craft Days 360
I don't use much spinning, but I see friends and comments that seem to prefer this kind of setup overall.
Re: Major Craft Days 360
The most comfortable to me is to have an actual foregrip - like what diggy posted. But you're right, if they insist on a down-locking nut, at least make it a soft material with some bulk to it...like that BLX and even the Expride A spinning with that little cork lock down wasn't terrible.hoohoorjoo wrote: ↑Sat Feb 11, 2023 7:22 pmNo, I think we are both saying the same thing. Re: Major Craft Days 360
Aside a custom tapered Tennessee cork grip, my favorite factory built spinning grip has been the OG Shimano 2018 Hard Rocker.

I also owned a Kage 7'0" MF, and while the foregrip design was comfortable, the Shimano Hard Rocker taper and material is much better in my hands.

Re: Major Craft Days 360
Has anybody noticed that the 6’10 L and the 6’4 ML spinning rods have 12 guides total in the guide train? That seems pretty excessive for such short rods. In my mind it would make them a little tip heavy and have a slower recovery. I’m sure they have a good reason for it, and the rods will still balance well since they’re so short. But I’ve just never seen that many guides on any production rods. Even my Steez AGS 7’6 MML only has 9 guides if I’m remembering correctly.

Tulala has 15 spiral guides on their 7'1" casting rod with backlash

Re: Major Craft Days 360
Looks like that 6'10" L could make for an excellent light drop shot rod.
