Jackson Super trickster 64L
Anyone here can give me some info about this rod? What would be its best use and how much would a used one go for. Thanks in advance.

I haven't seen much on this rod in a while but, I remember people using it for general finesse bass fishing. Small plastics, neds and such.

Thanks for the info. He did say that he used it for Ned rigs. So I mainly throw 1/4 oz and smaller jigs on 10 lb line, however with a trailer it ends up being around 3/8 of an oz. give or take. Do you think this rod could handle my 1/4 oz jig with a trailer. I am thinking that it would not as I am at the max weight this rod could handle. The specs on the rod are 6'-4" rod, 3/8 oz max lure weight and 10 lb max line.Hobie-Wan Kenobi wrote: ↑Sat Apr 22, 2023 11:23 amI haven't seen much on this rod in a while but, I remember people using it for general finesse bass fishing. Sounds like a normal bass BFS rod. I would use 1/16 to 1/8 oz jigs on it and weightless plastics or lightly weighted small plastics. This kind of stuff.

Thanks, that's what I thought. I do use 1/8 and 1/16 oz jigs with a trailer however I can cast those with my G Loomis with ease and since I don't fish Ned rigs, I think I'll pass on this rod.LowRange wrote: ↑Sat Apr 22, 2023 1:10 pmSounds like a normal bass BFS rod. I used to have this rod, sweet spot was 1/16-3/16 for the 64L. I wouldn't do well with 1/4 with trailer however. The rod was an excellent rod, sensitive and weighed well under 3oz. I used it mainly for bfs bottom bouncing but could use it in a pinch with topwater, jerkbaits and small cranks when I only had one combo with me wade fishing.
