I broke about half inch off my Daiwa titanium tip drop shot rod. There's not enough spacing to just replace the tip. Should I just put a tiptop where the second guide is or take off second guide and adjust the length to accommodate a new tip minus one guide?
Does anyone have experience repairing these? I tried to upload a picture. I really hate this because it was my favorite dock shooting rod for crappie and worked great for throwing maribou jigs for trout.
