Anyone get their hands on this rod yet? How would you rate the power? I’m looking for kind of an all-around rod that I can use for drop shot, damiki type stuff. I use 3/8 ounce weights mostly when I drop shot. For reference I find a DSR822 slightly underpowered.

I noticed Johnston was using the BLX rods for his drop shot at the the Saint Lawrence. It’s the 6’10 light action which I find odd cause he was using a 3/8 ounce weight seems like it would overpower a light action Rod but I guess it’s different than usual.
