Bumping this back up to the top to confirm whether or not the screwless design can be retrofitted to the Z2020? I’m trying to dress mine up a little and like the screwless ones available more than the traditional.

I havent done that exact swap, so I cant say for sure, but the SS SV and Alphas SV 105 are the only reels I've seen that you can do that to, due to the absurdly long crank shafts. Even on those 2, you still cant quite get the drag to back off fully.
Btw, you have to have the thinner nut from a Steez CT to make those 2 reels (sort of) work.
