New Steez A TW HLC

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Don't get too far ahead of yourself. I'm sure there's 17 more tatula variants on the way in the near future.

I am just glad this is not another Tatuloid frame reel from Daiwa

And just look at this "features" flooding. Makes it look like 13fishing or Shimano

...and an aluminum body!!! What will they think of next? 8-[
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

They are doing so well right now that it's possible that next they will make a new (smaller?) Z, with TWS and 3D of course. :D Boost Mag-Z 3D...

Anxiously awaiting digitaka to get these in, thinking this could be “the” reel for an all around heavy combo I’ve been debating. But what rod.... :-k

I don't blame Daiwa for going the Shimano/13 Fishing route. People on this forum are atypical when buying gear. The masses look at a box at Bass Pro and think the 13 Fishing reel is better because of the 'features' and anesthetics. You can only live so long on your reputation.

I think it helps that Daiwa has some of the younger stars with drawing potential like Feider, Palaniuk, and Walters.

Got mine from Plat.co.jp just a couple hours ago. No casts yet, but I took some initial pictures. I'll pair it with a Megabass P5 I.C.B.M. and see how far I can bomb my swim jigs.

Spool + bearings weigh 16.43g FWIW. The body looks identical to the morethan, minus the cosmetic changes on the top.
