New Daiwa reels

A Tatula 100 SV thing called a Salamandura. Some with a salamander laser engraved on the CC knob which is cool. Can't tell if it has an aluminum handle side plate or not.

A plastic thing called a PR100. Can't tell if it is an Aliexpress chineasium platform or a bespoke Daiwa. The Magforce is the button magnet type brake with the mag dial move the magnets closer to the 33mm spool.

The nut retainer on the Salamandura looks fine to me. I have plenty of other styles already.

I like the frame colour of the Salamandura, not sure about the handle knobs though unless the lighting is making them look a little different. I'm assuming these aren't USDM reels?

Something about the Salamandura:
"According to the domestic fishing situation carefully developed 6 micro-use and general-purpose models and 4 PE-specific large-scale models.
Using a diameter of 32mm ultra-hard aluminum SV wire cup, lightweight wire cup to bring better throwing speed, 2.5g to 21g or so of all kinds of false bait, can be easily controlled by the excellent performance of SV wire cup. The design of the new generation of compact frames, which weigh only 190g, is not easily tired when fishing for domestic mouth 鲌, 鳜 fish, etc. with air SENSOR wheel holders for the SALMANDURA series of fishing rods."

I actually bought the pr100 to try since its so cheap and You definitely can tell its a cheaply made reel lol. But with my settings on the reel i can cast a duo realis 110 jerkbait 40-50 yards which is good enough for me. If you want a beat around cheap reel from daiwa its not so bad.

That red is gorgeous. Glad they're taking risks again with these colors vs the same old black or gray

Yes, and they continue the tradition of NOT releasing it here in the States.

Has anyone gotten their hands on a Salamandura?

I kinda want to get one of the new Steez AGS rods and would need a suitably flashy reel to go on it.
