Do you buy spare spools for your spinning reels?

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Different size spools for one reel?
What about line lay? No issue there?

I keep an extra spool for a couple of spinning reels that get used for different applications. These are on my high end combos.

I bought two Daiwa AIRD 1500/2000's years ago and they came with two spools, a 1500 and a 2000 capacity. I use the 1500's for light braid and the 2000's for either heavier braid (20#) or 6# mono/fluoro/copoly.

I also have a couple of spare spools for my 2 - '11 Caldia's: 2 - 2506's and 2 - 2508's.
