It's a speedy spool. So much so I like mine with braid. It's even faster when pitching. Easily the fastest pitching spool I have used. Interestingly on a hard cast bombing a ned rig on 20# braid I can hear the metallic "clink" of the inductor seating just as the bait nears the water.

Fun building Pixies but too expensive. Easily hit $400+ on upgraded parts alone. I'll probably never do one again. You still can add....

Line guide (TDZ or even better silver IP68 line guide)
clicking drag washers kit
clicking drag star (unsure if you ever got that)
Alphas 7.2 gears

Yeah I’m not a TDZ line guide fan.
Just my personal preference. Everything else is done.
Drag is smooth
Took the combo out today but was too focused on using the swimbait and dead sword

Where did you find the gunmetal tension cap that clears the drag star? It’s the last piece I need for my own project.
