Epacket shipping

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Epacket shipping

Post by zelmo » Mon Aug 30, 2021 5:49 am

I am going to order a reel from Japan and one of the shipping options is Epacket. This is the first I have heard of it.

It is the least expensive option, but I believe in you get what you pay for. Has anyone used this before?

I decided not to use it. Insurance was up to 6,000 yen. Not a wise choice for a 60,000 yen reel.

through the postal system, EMS is the way to go. If you get all that insurance on 60000 yen, does the sellers declare 60000 yen as the value. Don't you pay a ton in duty?
