Salamandura

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

It actually looks better in person I think. Might throw the daiwa 20 hrf reel on it to see how it looks as well.

Any way to measure that OD of that spool? I have always assumed that it is 32 or 33mm, basically a tatula sv tw. If its 34mm, that would peak my interest.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Definitely a 32mm spool.

Pretty sweet little reel, the rods are pretty cool looking too. I despise red accents that are super popular in fishing nowadays but going all red is different enough that I find it cool. Any way you would be willing to sell me that topwater?

Ah that’s not too bad. Ordering from AliExpress scares me, like ordering from eBay 15 years ago

Can't stand the platform. No matter how they paint it, add bearings and give it another name, its still a Tatula.

Is it the twing u don't like or the bulkyness? I love the t wing but don't like the larger profile in general so sold off most of my tats in favor of the 70&150 mgl

I don't exactly "like" the twing (the tapered oval shaped line guides are the best in my opinion), but i accept it at this point. What i dislike about the Tatulas is the look, weight, bulkyness, long spool shaft on most of them not allowing me to use the million of 34mm spools available and the fact that they become very geary and noisy after some use. There isn't a single thing i like about these reels
