Seriously still no news about new '22 reels?
Hi! The awaiting is drivin me nuts! No news or even rumors about new Stella or Exist? What about Z2020 or Ryoga for example? Should be improved with SVBoost and Hyperdrive!

Shoot.....Still waiting for 2021 release product to appear. 2022 products might release news but I bet its going to be a long time until we have them available to fish. I have reels I ordered 5 months ago still not here.

when you pre-order reels that don't arrive in 5+ months, do you pay for them up front, or when they are actually shipped?

Pay upfront. At least that's the case for the Tatula limited pre-order I'm still waiting on from TT.SteveSchmelzle wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 1:46 pmwhen you pre-order reels that don't arrive in 5+ months, do you pay for them up front, or when they are actually shipped?

that's ridiculous, and bridging on a scam.
I highly doubt the retailer that you paid has prepaid for the reels. I know my local tackle shop pays upon receipt of goods.
So all you are doing is providing cash flow to a retailer with no interest or cost for the capital.

Then don't do it, it's that simple. Pre-ordering is completely optional and voluntary, and to call it bridging on a scam is actually ridiculous. Anyone who wants a refund on a pre-ordered item is absolutely welcome to it, but they'll lose their place in line and often won't have another shot. I can speak from experience that often pre-ordered items trickle in and are shipped in order of pre-payment, with none left over for "stock" - and not just on "limited" items. It's a brave new world out there and getting product is a challenge across numerous industries, tackle included.SteveSchmelzle wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 2:51 pmthat's ridiculous, and bridging on a scam.

I second this… any ‘22 Alde news is welcome (even if the next alde is ‘23 or ‘24 instead of ‘22).
