Seriously still no news about new '22 reels?

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Bring back 3D braking! While you're at it, how about a 22 Tdz throwback 🤗
I’d like to see a flat black Zillion with matte charcoal grey hood.
The new Zillion HD is exactly that...
I have the new Zillion HD. It’s shiny black frame and side plates with a matte black hood. It’s not far off, I just want some different color combos of the new Zillion.

So the hopefuls on the way:
Shimano:
A new Aldebaran, BFS version and regular casting version too (seemingly the BFS is listed on JDM Tackle Heaven)
A new Stella would match the every 4 years trend
Mention of a DC version of the new Metanium
Daiwa:
Probably some Tatula variants
Already got a Zillion HD (wish they had used that color scheme for the G/1000)
Already recently had 2 new Alphas AIR variants
Any other manufacturers:
Nothing I have heard of, the last big release news I remember was 13 Fishing's Zero bearing reel and that didn't go very far.

Just speculating. As far as big news, that is just the last one I remember from other companies that was supposed to "change things"

Gahhh hadn’t seen earlier posts. In the absence of a full aldebaran launch I’m gonna speculate that this is not a new frame but rather internal rework, spool and brakes likely, a la 15 alde bfs limited.

Why the „fly off“ side plate as with FTB there‘s no need to make adjustments inside? Seems odd… as long as they didn’t change sth with FTB

Looks like I’m out until we hit a 200 yen per dollar exchange rate.

I like the current model.
I'm not sure about the price of the new model.
Daiwa may be pricing themselves out of the game.

Ok def a sleeker rotor, spool is revamped too...but I guess the monocoque body was already perfect :)
