what reel

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Throwing 3/8 to 1/2 oz crankbaits is the Steez sv tw or the Steez A the better reel for this application. Which braking system is the preferred ?

Skip both and grab the 2021 zillion. That weight is pretty easy to cast, so i am not too sure what's the point of having an SV spool, but at the same time, if you're fishing from a boat and don't need distance, i guess a stress free casting is never a negative, so an SV spool will do just fine.

Is anyone using a Steez reel for crankbaits? Which one and why?

They will both work. Steez A seems to be preferred by the pros.
