BFS spool for scorpion xt 1500 or Curado cu200?

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

As in the title. I dont keep up with Shimano stuff anymore, but a friend wants to convert a reel to BFS rather than buying an entirely new reel.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

There are no Aliexpress cheapies that fit those reels that I know of and I spend too much time on that damn site. Anything you would find would be a 2nd hand product from Yumeya, Avail ect at jaw dropping prices on ebay. You would have to check what was made on hedgehog and go look for that 2nd hand. Better off convincing him to get an old 50 reel or the newer MGLs.

Was thinking the same thing regarding the yumeya spools. Both of these are the same reel. The scorpion is just the JDM version of the cu200. I told him he would be better off with a SLX finesse reel for $140 or so.
