Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

I would say yes. Especially with the Yen rate the way it is now and what you can buy them for.

Probably Digitaka. My wife picked one up for me for $230 on Father’s Day. I’m stationed in Okinawa though and my local store is charging 31,000¥ for Zillions. It’s a good time to be there.

I just scooped up the Zillion HD and gave it a first date. I like it more than the regular Zillion and I like that one a LOT.
Best reel in a decade? Not to me…I think I’d rather have the Steez SV TW and certainly I would NOT trade one for my Morethan PE TW(fancy Steez A) The thing is that all these reels share spool compatibility which makes it tougher to choose. They are all very good platforms. Someone above me stated that the Steez SV TW is more versatile than the new Zillion which I disagree with…unless only in regards to factory spools and casting versatility which even than the Zillion is right there. The Zillion being Aluminum framed imo makes it a more versatile platform.
